The coastline near the place is famous for its underwater world which can be interesting for spear-fishing lovers and divers. Around Vinisce, there are few nice bays with beautiful sand and graveled beaches. One of the most beautiful bays is Stari Trogir (sand, stone and graveled beaches), Voluja, Krknjasi  on Veli Drvenik, Vela Rina on Mali Drvenik, Ricevo Vrelo, Sicenica... There is a very strong fishing tradition in Vinisce so the fresh fish is always available, just like homemade culinary specialities. image 2There are several stores in Vinisce and restaurants, pizza places, caffe bars, a post office, boat and pedaline renting is also available. Sports lovers can enjoy wind surfing, water skiing, diving, bowling... image 1Makarska  is a city, a port and the tourist center of Makarska riviera. It is situated at the foot of the muontain Biokovo, in a vast bay which is enclosed on south-east by Osejava cape, and on north-west by St. Peter peninsula. This city, surrounded by georgeous pinewood is one of the most famous touristic destinations of Croatian cost. It attracts tourists not just with it’s nature beauties but also with an extremly mild climate and rich touristic offer. The city consists of the old Mediterranean core and of the newer part with different hotels, restaurants and stores. In Donja Luka, there is a 1500 m long pebble beach and lot of sand lagoonas.
Along the port and the city beach there is a wide sand beach surrounded with lots of stores, caffes, restaurants, pastry shops and live music playing.
Makarska has a rich cultural and historical herritage.
image 2There is the Franciscan monastery celebrating 500 years of existence located in the area of former Benedictian abbey. There is the Malakoloski museum with unique and rich collection of shells (around 10,000 pieces). The monastery has a library, an archive and a big collection of Baroque arts and paintings. The Baroque church of St. Mark is situated in the town square. There is also the most beautiful Baroque building in town-  the Ivanisevic palace. By the coastline you can find the City museum and St. Philip’s church. In the neraby park of St. Peter,  the renewed church of St. Peter is located, from there you can enjoy a beutiful view of the city, Biokovo and the sea.
For everyone interested in sports and recreation, sea and land sports practicing is available. There is also a modern tennis center where the world tournaments are held.
For all of those interested in extreme sports there are: paragliding (parachute and kite flying), rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, tracking (on bike), speleology, wind surfing, diving...
The recreational-health tourism is developed in Makarska. 
Makarska is well known for its numerous cultural and entertaining events and its cheerful night life. Makarska summer culture festival is a traditional event that (within 50 days during the summer) combines concerts, exhibitions, theater plays and city festivities (Fishing nights and Night of Kalelarga). Dalmatian harmony singing nights, folk nights with mandolin and guitar are held during the summer, and in the beginnig of August the traditional Summer carnival takes place. The townquay of Makarska is getting more and more vivid by night, and caffe bars, restaurants and disco-bars more and more full. There are lots of cocktail bars attracting young people with parties till dawn.
