Lokva Rogoznica is a small town about 9 km south of Omiš, and it is situated halfway between Split and Makarska. There are several sandy beaches suitable for children, but most of the beaches are of gravel. Besides the beautiful beaches and the crystally clear sea, Lokva Rogoznica is covered in pine forests that stretch all the way to the sea, and there is also a post office there, a grocery store, several restaurants, coffee places, as well as some beautiful camping sites. Each year in August “Fishermen's nights” take place in Lokva Rogoznica.
